Elder Carlos will be my Comp. and Elder A.Miller (From my MTC group) Will be coming to DP.

WEdnesday was a normal day

Thursday I threw up so we didn´t do anything

Friday it was freezing cold and raining, we took the flew shot and everyone got a little sick, ya, that was a very productive day.

Saturday was back to a normal day of work, and I watched the Brasil Italy game, Brasil won 4-2. :D

Sunday was normal sunday until the conference, we don´t know when or how our work will be changed, all we were told is we´ll recieve updates as our timegets closer so... ya´ll will recieve the same ones!!!

WEll, back to the rough world of Brasil where all that´s going on are soccer games and riots... Ya´ll should check out the riots if you haven´t seen them yet, good thing I´m in a tiny city.

Lunch at the bishop's house

Monday, June 17, 2013

Well, another week in the books!!!

Tuesday was distrito amigo in Bagé, so we left early tuesday morning and got back Tuesday night, nothing special happened! Though it was valentines day here so there were a lot of single snakes in the Bagé Central...

Wednesday nothing happened.

Thursday the other two left for POA to renew Elder Fagg´s visa, so we had to the house to ourself, and it was a SUPER normal day.

Friday We went to Bagé to go to the doctor... I got an ultrasound done on my stomach... Ya, that was cold, and weird... Not something I want to do again, got back at about 7 and visited a couple people then called it quits and went to the store!!!!

Saturday, we had lunch, watched the start of the confederations cup... By choice, no... BUt EVERYBODY was watching it so... I´m getting a taste of what the world cup will be like. Then we had a dinner appointment from our lunch that we had to cancell on Friday.

Sunday: Church, lunch, visiting members, and p-night!!!! wHAT AN EVENTFUL WEEK NÉ?!?!!?

wELL, here in Dom Pedrito, we´re all anxiously awaiting the missionary training thing next week! And the historic announcement that should be coming with it! President Castro said that it will be something that we´ll be able to brag about in 40 years, saying that we were in the mission POAS when this happened.... So, we´re anxiously waiting, with wild ideas about what it´s gonna be!!!!

WEll, this week was actually kind of eventful!!! I think

Tuesday: I actually don´t remember what happened. Oops

Wednesday: We just worked a normal day, then watched a soap opera with a less active member ``Sangue Bom`` I don´t know if I ever told ya´ll but popular tv here is Soap operas. Everyone watches them, everyday.

Thursday: Another normal day!

Friday: Well, I´m not gonna tell you what happened that day becuase everyone will just be worried about it. Anyway, we went to Bagé, I met a guy that likes american football, so we talked about that for a while, then we came back to Dom Pedrito. That´s it.

Saturday: Woke up early, went to Bagé (Again) ate lunch, I shot a basketball for the first time in 8 months... Ya, not gonna say anything else about that experience. Had a training and interviews with President Castro. Went to BIG (Walmart) and bought stuff (wasted time) For 2 hours waiting for our bus. After 10 months I finally gave in and bought Doritos! (and mouth wash) Then we came home, slept on the bus, got off a little early, Elder F. Silva left our cell phone on the bus, so we had to end up walking to the bus station anyways... Pffff.

Woke up this morning to a ton of fog.

Sunday: Went to church, there was a childs baptism... Went to lunch, watched the first half of France vs. Brazil (The game was in POA) :( it was tied 0-0 when we stopped watching... Brasil won 3-0, looks like I watched the wrong half. :( Then we made contacts to have Elder F. Silva´s first week with 140 contacts in his mission!!!! Woo!!!

P.s. I didn´t know that Gifford Nielson was a member of the 70!

Churrasco at the ward mission leader's house

Monday, June 3, 2013

Well, last week on PDAY we made 20 liters of lime juice (Basically lemonade) TO prep ourself during the week to drink Tereré. Well, the sad thing is it only lasted until Wednesday.. Oh well...

WE had district meeting and distrito amigo. IT was a normal day, I bout 2 more pins, then I went on splits with Elder Emanoel because the other 2 had a lot of stuff do to at night, and we didn´t have anything set in stone... When we got home a huge lightning storm started, I have a video, but I can´t send it on this email. :( Then... We slept.

Normal day of work, nothing special until our meeting with the leadership!!! So we wen´t  to the church... And nobody showed up.... >(

Was a holidayy!!! Our lunch just happened to be with Paulo (The ward mission leader) SO he finally hooked up that churrasco that he´s been promising... Well, I´m not gonna lie. It was the best churrasco that I´ve ever had... I´m ready for round 2. Well, then the rain started pounding again... So much that it wasn´t even possible to do anything. So, we went home... Where we found the other 2, (they had the same idea) WE studied, slept then fought our way through a continuing rain storm to get to our appointment.

Normal day... Kinda. We had lunch at one of, no, the dirtiest house I´ve ever been to. It was tiny, doesn´t have a table, so we ate on the couches... Interesting these kind of people that don´t even have bed frames, but they have playstation, big screen tv... oh well, that´s besides the point. Well, while eating one of the 20 cats started walking towards my plate, so... I pushed the freaking thing off the couch. I didn´t think much of it... Until we were leaving, while I went to shake the wifes hand she gripped it with all of her force and told me to never touch one of her cats again... Wow, this city is definitely different that my first 2.

Saturday was a normal day....
Sunday too. Though yesterday we ``got`` to watch the Brasil vs. England soccer game. It was kinda cool, getting me excited for the world cup here!!!!!!!

Today we had a service project where we tilled a garden then planted green onion... I felt like a real farmer... Kinda. It was cool we kept sucking on the green onion during, it was a nice treat for our hard service!
